Summer Group Meetings

A series of weekly virtual group meetings between May to August, designed to foster community, collaboration, and scientific growth across our network of colleges and universities.

Overview

The PUNC Summer Group Meetings are weekly gatherings that bring together students, faculty, and researchers from collaborating institutions during the peak time for undergraduate research – the summer! Unlike a traditional conference, these group meetings are opportunities for students to present active, on-going research, which is still in the development phase.

Our primary purpose is to break down the silos of individual research groups. By bringing together a variety of backgrounds and expertise in these summer group meetings, we create a dedicated space for deep-dive discussions, scientific troubleshooting, and the cross-pollination of ideas that drive future research and build collaborations.
