The PUNC Undergraduate Conference

Central to the idea of PUNC is collaboration and the sharing of ideas. There is no better environment for this than a small conference with a focused topic. Modeled after Gordon Research Conference meetings, the PUNC conference will be a chance for undergraduates to present their research in a supportive environment where they can receive meaningful feedback. Speakers will be invited from major research institutions and industry to talk about their work in the field, and to expose students to future opportunities. Additionally, the conference is an opportunity for faculty to meet, share ideas, and continue to develop their research network.

Conference Details

The first PUNC Undergraduate Conference will be hosted at Roanoke College in Salem, VA. Situated in beautiful central Virginia, Roanoke College is only 10 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail, and the Roanoke River. Conveniently, the college is only 10 minutes from the city of Roanoke, and is easily accessible by car or plane, through the Roanoke Regional Airport.
